Comment In Sha Allah if you want to pray a Jummah in Madina 💚 A full Friday in Madinah for Jummah prayers Alhamdulillah, a soulful visit to Masjid al Nabawi, and a lot of good food in between. This was a day trip from Jeddah on the Haramain High Speed Railway, cruising through the desert at 300km/h, sipping gahwa, and listening to Surah Al Kahf while the sun lit up the dunes. Took the train straight to Madinah, hopped on a 3.5 riyal bus, and reached Masjid al Nabawi just in time for Friday prayers and a beautiful spot in the masjid. After namaaz and a quick nap, I went to present my salaam to the Prophet, peace be upon him – honestly the highlight of the whole trip. The rest of the day was a mix of ziyarat and foodie stops: Syrian shawarma, coffee at Row, a quick perfume haul, a proper steak and sandwich at a local steakhouse, then dessert and espresso at Feel café that completely revived me. On the way out, I couldn’t resist a burger joint next door – juicy beef burgers and cheesy fries before heading back for Asr, Maghrib and Isha in Masjid al Nabawi. Ended the night with one last salaam, a final look at the majestic Uhud mountains with teary eyes, and then the Haramain train back to Jeddah before midnight.
