My role as a conservationist and filmmaker is to create awareness about the environmental concerns of our planet. Amidst this need to present, showcase and document marine conservation and ghost nets, it is also essential that there is awareness among my audience and a following urge for action. We love that you document the trash for us, we love that you document and report ghost nets because it is a terrible reality. However there is one thing I want you to do. I want you, after you’ve done clicking a picture to send to us, do your bit if it’s not causing possible harm to you, another individual or animal - ensure that you also take the trash and net OUT of that ecosystem. You see a net? Take a photo and remove it from the beach. That is the whole point of this. That is the large purpose. I already know how bad a problem this is, that is exactly why we have this initiative :)
