Something we have observed recently is the lack of data and research on ghost nets in India. Even if there is any it is not accessible to everyone for whatever reasons. We wanted to do our bit to change that and provide more access to everything related to marine debris. We identify and acknowledge the need for data to look back on for policy recommendations and overall research for scientific as well as non scientific purposes. You can’t change what you don’t understand and moreover you can’t change anything without data to back you. If you have papers you want us to add to this drive you can email them to [email protected] and if you want to access them, they’re right there on our linktree - Because apparently we have a lot of free time on our hands 🙃 PS - Interchange platform with data bank.
