Lapland had a way of slowing everything down. The days were short, the nights felt endless, and nothing about seeing the northern lights was guaranteed. For two weeks, we chased the aurora across Finland, checking forecasts, stepping outside in the freezing cold, and sometimes just waiting. Some nights, the lights appeared quietly outside our Airbnb, as if the sky had decided to be kind to us. On other nights, we drove for hours, going back and forth on empty roads, hoping the clouds would clear and the sky would finally come alive. These timelapses hold all of that. The cold fingers, the tired eyes, the silence before the sky started moving. Every green wave you see came from patience, a little stubbornness, and a lot of belief that it would be worth it. This is what two weeks of chasing the northern lights in Lapland looked like, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. 🌌 #canon #lapland #finland #beautifuldestinations #travelreelsindia
