In today’s scenario, specialization or skill-based training is essential if you want growth or respect. 3️⃣ The early income is low — brutally low. Intern stipends or first-year salaries often can’t match graduates from tech, finance, or even sales. 4️⃣ You reach financial comfort late. While others settle by 23–25, most doctors reach stability around 28–35, depending on PG and career path. 5️⃣ Competition is rising fast. More colleges = more doctors. Urban areas are saturated, while rural areas still lack proper hospital systems. 6️⃣ Demand exists — but not always with good support. Govt hospitals, districts, and PHCs need doctors, but infrastructure, workload, and pay can feel unfair. 7️⃣ Respect is there — but reality isn’t glamorous. People respect the coat, but the profession demands sacrifice, long hours, and emotional strength. 8️⃣ Private practice isn’t the easy fallback anymore. Corporate hospitals, regulations, and competition mean you need strategy, patience, and reputation. 9️⃣ This field tests you before it rewards you. Sleepless nights, exams, emergencies, stress — this journey requires resilience more than brilliance. 🔟 Yet, for the right mindset — it’s worth everything. If you’re here for status or shortcuts, you’ll regret it. If you’re here for impact, purpose, science, and service — you’ll find meaning few professions offer.
