Teach them these little comebacks to these hurtful statements ### 1️⃣ “I don’t like you.” **Child can say:** 👉 “That’s okay. I like myself.” --- ### 2️⃣ “You can’t play with us.” **Child can say:** 👉 “Okay. I’ll find someone else to play with.” 👉 “I’m okay playing on my own.” --- ### 3️⃣ “You’re not good at this.” **Child can say:** 👉 “I’m still learning.” 👉 “I don’t have to be perfect.” --- ### 4️⃣ “You’re weird.” **Child can say:** 👉 “I like being me.” 👉 “Different is okay.” --- ### 5️⃣ “Nobody wants to be your friend.” **Child can say:** 👉 “That’s not true.
