**These are NOT games.** They are *manipulation tactics* often used by those who want to blur boundaries, silence children, or test their reactions. As parents, our power is in **teaching our kids early**—what’s safe, what’s unsafe, and what they should *never* agree to. **🚫 1. The “Bravery Game”** Where a child is asked to “prove they’re brave” by doing something uncomfortable, risky or inappropriate. Kids don’t owe anyone bravery. They only owe themselves safety. **🚫 2. The “Secret Game”** “Don’t tell your mom…” “Let’s keep this between us…” These are red flags. Teach your child that **safe adults never ask for secrets**—only surprises, and surprises always have an end date. **🚫 3. The “Act Like You’re Sleeping Game”** Predators use this to test physical boundaries when the child won’t react. Make sure your child knows: **You never pretend to sleep for anyone. Your body, your rules, your awareness.** **🚫 4. The “Touching Game”** Any game that involves private parts is **never** a game. Explain to your child early: No one should touch their private parts, and they shouldn’t touch anyone else’s. Not a friend, not a cousin, not an adult. No exceptions. **❤️ Dear parents,** If we want our kids to come to us *first*, we need to create a home where questions are welcomed, feelings are safe, and communication is open. Talk early. Talk often. Talk calmly.
