Strong opinions. Quick conclusions. But every time a leader chooses being right over staying connected, they quietly lose trust. Because people don’t disengage when leaders are wrong — they disengage when leaders stop listening. Connection is built when leaders: ⮩ Listen to understand, not to respond. ⮩ Put curiosity before ego. ⮩ Value relationships more than winning debates. You can prove a point and still lose a person. Or you can build connection and gain commitment.
