Dear Neil, Happy 6th Birthday, my sweetheart!💫 My yearly ritual ,i write this letter to you at 12am on 20th September with such happy tears 🥹! This year has been full of big changes, and you have handled them with so much courage and grace. Moving from Mumbai to Gurgaon could not have been easy, but you amazed me with how quickly you adapted. You settled into your new school in no time at all—your teachers adore you, and you have already made some wonderful friends. Neil, I am constantly inspired by your curiosity and talent. Your beautiful paintings show so much creativity and passion. In just two months, you picked up Hindi and even mastered cursive writing—something that left me completely amazed! How can a 5-year-old be so adaptive, so eager to learn, and so quick to grasp everything around him? I especially love the way you understand and care for your friends. -at times i wonder how calm and “samajdaar” my little boy has become. You show not just intelligence, but also a big, kind heart. This year, you’ve also taken big steps—playing clever moves in chess, reading a whole novel all by yourself, cycling with growing confidence, and even sleeping in your own bed. You are not only intelligent but also learning to manage your emotions with such maturity. Neil, i know i am bragging and forever will -you shine so bright—with your kindness, your creativity, and your sharp mind. Always remember, I am so proud of you, and I love you more than words can ever say. As I write this letter, I am emotional and even crying—because my heart is so full of happiness watching you grow. With all my love, Mumma (Letter to my 6yr old)
