Mosaru Kudike, also known as Dahi Handi is a popular tradition that is celebrated widely across India during Krishna Janmashtami. In Karnataka, Mosaru Kudike, is celebrated mostly in the coastal and southern regions. It’s a ritual that symbolizes Krishna’s mischievous behaviour as Makhan Chor (butter thief). The tradition involves mainly groups of young boys who form pyramids and try to break the pots tied above the ground.!
