The worldbuilding hints at deeper existential stakes, where breaking “unbreakable” rules reshapes reality itself, though at times the broader context feels underexplored compared to the central relationship. The narrative ends up prompting readers to interrogate their own beliefs about consciousness, agency, and moral responsibility. While some philosophical musings verge on the abstract, the emotional core remains grounded. Part speculative fiction, part existential inquiry—this one lingers well after the final page.
