In a pressure cooker/kadhai add,1 Cups Moong Dal (Soaked), 1/2 tsp Hing, salt, 2-3 cup water. Cook dal over low heat for 2 – 3 whistles or till it is mushy. 2. Mash the dal, if you are doing healthy version add 1 tbsp ghee and mash (otherwise traditionally we add 2-3 tbsp butter and mash it) 3. Add it to a container, add jeera powder, chaat masala, onion, tomato, coriander, green chillies, sliced ginger, lemon.
