Antra Dubey’s storytelling is captivating and immersive. With a strong narrative and a deeply engaging plot, she weaves a tale of family, relationships, fears, healing, and above all, love in its many shades. Her writing style is simple yet enthralling, making the story relatable. I loved how she balanced heavy, emotional moments with lightness and everyday realism, whether in the staffroom banter, the bustling ghats, or the quiet of a home. Each detail felt alive and true. Especially how she infused Banaras into every emotion of the novel—the ghats, the crowds, the quiet corners, the city’s pulse. It’s as if the city itself becomes a character in the story.
