Found the HERO of Cambodia in SIEM REAP 🇰🇭 SAVE THIS for your trip to Cambodia! ✨ Meet Jordan (Magawa) – the African giant pouched rat who saved lives by sniffing out landmines. Yes, a rat! 🐀💥 Trained by the non-profit APOPO, Magawa cleared over 100 landmines and unexploded bombs across Cambodia, helping make the land safe for locals again. He was so good at his job that he even received a gold medal for bravery, basically the rat version of a Nobel Peace Prize. Despite their reputation, these rats are highly intelligent, light enough not to trigger mines, and can clear in 30 minutes what would take a human with a metal detector 4 days. Magawa retired in 2021 after a heroic career and passed away peacefully in 2022. A tiny creature with a giant legacy. Not all heroes wear capes, some have whiskers. 🐾 #HeroRat #Magawa #Cambodia #UnsungHeroes #TravelWithPurpose #IncredibleStories #APOPO #travelreels #travelreelsindia #cambodiaitinerary
