For giving me the courage to follow my path with your promise of protection. For passing on your mad organizational grit, your extreme devotion to family, even your gift of forgiveness that I was fortunate to witness in your final moments. For silently teaching me resilience, trust, and determination, while watching you build an amazing life for your family in a hella remote foreign world (Kapuskasing!) after arriving here as a ugandan refugee with nothing but the shirt on your back. You were and still are such an epic dad and soft leader, and the first man I loved with every fabric of my being. And it's not lost on me that I went into labor on your death day, three years ago, three weeks late, but maybe right on time?! When Hera arrived with THE MOST dramatic entrance, it all felt like part of your plan.✨ Today we will honour you with your favourite food and music in your preferred setting - mother nature. love you the most daddy ❤️
