I was asked, last minute, to share mantra music at a community satsang here in Mumbai, and I’m so grateful I said yes. It’s been a while (since the birth of my now 2yo daughter) that I’ve actively trained my vocals with my teachers, though the Vedic chanting has never stopped. It flows effortlessly into our bedtime rituals, and at least once or twice a week, we host healing sound sessions with Hera. These days, she won’t even let us chant until she’s had her own go with the mantras! 🥹😻😂 Initially, I was focused on ensuring my vocals would cooperate, given the short notice and my busy schedule. But this experience was a humbling reminder of the healing power of Vedic mantras and their ability to realign your chakras, fulfill your intentions, and connect you with source energy. Whether sung or recited, their magic lies in the act of tuning into them with stillness and love. As soon as I dropped in, all of my wishes for that moment came true.🔮 Sharing my reworkings of my favourite Vedic mantras from my album Soul Ceremony and watching the room receive them with open hearts was pure joy and a beautiful reminder of the unifying and transformative energy these ancient chants hold. Thanks to this opportunity and the others flowing my way here in the motherland 🇮🇳, it’s clear that it’s time for me to return to this practice in a deeper way. I feel called to begin sharing these ancient mantras more regularly in community settings, embracing the power of sound as a pathway to connection, healing, and unity. gratitude to @iratrivedi for inviting me share mantra music at the yoglove satsang @atulosteoblast for the soulful accompaniment + the few beautiful souls I got to connect with who unknowingly encouraged me through your kind words to keep going & the matriarchs of my lineage for inspiring my mantra journey and art🤍🙏🏾 #sanskritmantras #vedas #soulceremony #mantramusic #mantrameditation #soundceremony #rheamehtamusic #hariomtatsat
