
Famous Bollywood singer, Zubeen Garg passed away while scuba diving, which turned out to be his last as he fell into the sea. While he was rescued in time, the doctors were unable to revive him. Now, Zubeen Garg’s event manager shared first statemetn after the singer’s untimely demise in Singapore, where he was for his performance. Zubeen Garg’s event manager, Shyamkanu Mahanta and his team issued their first statement after the singer’s death. Confirming the heartbreaking news, Zubeen revealed that the iconic singer passed away at Singapore General Hospital around 2:30 p.m. Zubeen was scheduled to perform at the festival on September 20, 2025. The statement can be read as: “With profound grief, we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved icon, Zubeen Garg, passed away today at Singapore General Hospital around 2:30 PM. Zubeen had arrived in Singapore just the day before yesterday. He was scheduled to be with us at the festival tomorrow, meeting and interacting with people. Earlier today, our entire team was engaged in a business meeting with senior Singaporean industrialists and policymakers at the Shangri-La Hotel to facilitate investments in Northeast India.” The even manager also talked about the unfortunate incident. He stated that during the meeting, they received a call from Zubeen’s manager informing them that the singer had met with the accident. The statement also revealed that Zubeen was on a yacht visit, and they had no knowledge about it. Manager shared: “During the meeting, we received a call from Zubeen’s manager informing us that he had met with an accident and had been rushed to Singapore General Hospital.
