I first made this Nepali snack wai wai Chapatae on New Year’s, just out of curiosity. Since then, it has become one of my favorite discoveries. It’s simple, tasty, and perfect for starters, tea-time, or even a picnic snack. This time, I remade it with more authenticity and while I did miss out on a couple of traditional ingredients, it still turned out so amazing! I can only imagine how much better it would taste with everything added in. Food has this beautiful way of connecting us to cultures and people, and I’m so grateful I came across this recipe.
