Draped this beautiful Kothpad saree for our friends meet up . (Pics already shared ) In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in Kothapad sarees as designers and artisans collaborate to blend traditional aesthetics with contemporary styles. Owning a kothpad offers sophistication and timeless elegance. The saree I had bought from an exhibition was surely a love at first sight for me coz of its unique yet harmonious color combination.The fabric is a perfect blend of tussar & fine cotton which provided me a graceful drape and a comfortable, breathable time while flaunting it in Mumbai’s peak summer I personally don’t believe in every time wearing a matching -matching blouse , hence I don’t prefer to stitch my blouses every time , rather u let them be in my saree(bless am using them) to make my saree pletes a little more dense . Here I teemed my saree with a Ghoti-hata blouse , my ready made purchase from a boutique & this pairing fetched me a lot of complements & for my accessories went for layered neck pieces & a matching dangler to suit my styling .
