I get a DERMAPLANING done once a month and I haven’t seen any issues for shaving like ingrown hair, acne flare ups, Excess hair growth raised bumps because of the simple pre-and post shaving tips that we follow in our Clinic. 1.We Never shave on dry face. This can lead to cuts on your face. 2. We always use a cleanser or a mind facial cream as a lubricant. The blades we use in the Clinic are extremely sharp. They are surgical blade level. Contrary to the belief, a sharp blade is safer than a blunt one because the latter can tug and pull the skin causing damage. 3. The razor we use the blade we use is always new, preventing any spread of bacteria . 4. We avoid using any oils that can clog your pores before or after the treatment . 5.We always shave in a single direction which can sometimes become difficult when you’re shaving on your own. This is important to avoid ingrown hair and gives the cleanest possible look. 6.We always apply sunscreen, post procedure always try and visit a professional aesthetic Clinic to help you with these procedures. They might seem easy and attempting to try and do at home, but for the best and long lasting results, a professional hand always always helps.
