Built over 1,200 years ago by the Pallava kings, the temple seemed to whisper stories of gods, seafarers, and centuries of devotion. I stood in awe, tracing the intricate carvings with my fingers, wondering how such fine details had survived the test of time and sea. The sculptures of Lord Shiva and Vishnu inside the temple felt alive, as if the temple was still watching over those who entered. As the sun rose higher, golden light bathed the temple, and I sat on a nearby rock just to take it all in—the waves, the wind, and the quiet power of history.
