Last year, I was invited by IIM Ahmedabad. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to engage with leaders from India’s top institutions, including the IIMs and IITs. Being part of these conversations has shaped my understanding of how higher education in India is evolving. Meeting Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director of IIM Ahmedabad, was especially memorable. We both come from Lucknow, and the warmth and politeness he carries beautifully reflect the city’s culture. What impressed me most was his clarity.
