Vihaan and I have been fans of Moin’s adventures for a while, and “Moin and the Monkey Monster” did not disappoint! Our Favorite Parts: • Perfect for Read-Alouds: The dialogue is so expressive that it’s easy to do “voices” for the characters. Vihaan especially loved the monster’s antics—it’s silly, pink, and totally unpredictable. • Encourages Imagination: After reading, we spent time imagining what kind of monster might be hiding in our own house. It’s a great spark for creative play. • Quick & Engaging: The chapters are just the right length for a “one more chapter before bed” request without being too long. If you’re looking for a short chapter book for your little one, this series is a gem. The illustrations by Anitha Balachandran are fantastic and helped Vihaan stay engaged with the story even when the text got more descriptive. A must-have for any little reader’s bookshelf. We can’t wait to see what Moin and his monster get up to next!
