❤️Kalakand Modak is by far the best creation I’ve ever made in the kitchen.” 🧁 Kalakand Modak Recipe Ingredients: • Kalakand Base: Milk powder • 1 cup crumbled paneer (or ricotta cheese) • 1 cup condensed milk (sweetened) • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder • A few saffron strands (optional) • 1 tbsp chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds) • For Modak Shaping: • Ghee (for greasing) • Modak mould (optional, but helps with shape) ⸻ 🥣 Instructions: 1. Prepare Kalakand Mixture: • In a non-stick pan, add ghee and after melt combine the crumbled paneer and condensed milk, milk powder, kesar milk . • Cook on medium-low heat, stirring continuously to avoid burning. • After 10–12 minutes, the mixture will start thickening and leaving the sides of the pan. • Add cardamom powder, saffron (if using), and chopped nuts. Mix well. • Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the mixture holds shape and isn’t too sticky. 2. Cool Slightly: • Let the mixture cool for 5–10 minutes so it’s easier to handle but still warm. 3. Shape into Modaks: • Grease your hands or modak mould with a little ghee. • Take small portions of the mixture and shape into modaks using your hands or the mould. • If using mould, press mixture inside, close it, and gently remove. 4. Garnish (Optional): • Sprinkle some crushed pistachios or edible silver foil for a festive look. . .
