If luck is on your side, you may just spot the king himself—and we did! 🦁 We witnessed the majestic Asiatic lion, the lioness gracefully resting nearby, herds of deer, soaring eagles, and many other beautiful creatures that call Gir their home. Each turn of the trail holds the promise of a new sighting, making the safari an unforgettable adventure. Back at the resort, indulgence takes over—the spa invites you to unwind with soulful treatments, while Swadesh, their signature restaurant, serves authentic Gujarati delicacies in a traditional Kansa thali (copper thali), making every meal feel like a celebration of local culture. And when evening arrives, the rhythms of the Siddi Dhamal dance light up the night. Performed by the Siddis, an Afro-Indian community with deep historical roots, the dance is a burst of energy and devotion—drums, chants, peacock feathers, and fire coming together in a performance that is as spiritual as it is exhilarating.
