Known for its incredible stone walls stretching over 36 km (the second longest in the world after the Great Wall of China!), it is a place that humbles you with its scale and spirit. Inside the fort complex, there is so much open for the public to explore— palaces, massive gateways, watchtowers, stepwells, ancient reservoirs, viewpoints overlooking endless valleys, and the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. Each structure echoes power and pride, and the panoramic views from the top are truly to die for. 🌄 What fascinated me the most were the Jain temples inside the fort—there are so many of them, beautifully carved and full of intricate details, yet today none are in active use.
