At 41 sec as per this one😀 Was looking for this video since long.. finally found it on YT.. all because I wanted to catch a glimpse of that one guy …The guy I was dating back then… now my husband😀 Long distance relationships weren’t easy back in those days. We didn’t have WhatsApp or FaceTime…just every day phone calls, some letters and sometimes thanks to Yahoo Messenger we got few precious minutes on the PC webcam..for that also I had to visit the nearby cafe😀 Back then I was a college girl in Bangalore, and he was posted in Jamnagar, flying MiG21s. Our worlds were miles apart. While my friends hung out with their boyfriends in the same city or college, I was the one counting days, waiting for his phone calls. There were arguments and tears.. mostly because we both missed each other and couldn’t bridge the distance. I never understood why he had to sleep early, or why he’d ask me to hang up so soon. I’d sulk whine and complain… not realizing what his mornings looked like…sorties, drills, and the immense responsibility that came with being a fighter pilot. It was only after becoming his wife that I truly understood it all…the discipline, the exhaustion, the risks, and above all, the silent sacrifices that comes with wearing that uniform. Their dedication, their courage, and their ability to keep personal life second to duty is beyond what most of us can comprehend. Today, as I rewatch that video and see him in his element, my heart swells with pride and gratitude…not just for him, but for every brave Air warrior who guards our skies, often putting everything else last on their list.
