Three weeks ago, I quit my 50 LPA Senior Manager role at Unilever. No backup plan. No safety net. Just a choice. People keep asking: “Do you regret it?” Not for a second. ITC and HUL gave me six incredible years—skills, exposure, discipline. I’m grateful for all of it. But I had to choose: build a great career, or build MY life. Somewhere along the way, those two stopped being the same. This isn’t anti-corporate. This isn’t advice to quit your job. This is just what happens when you step off the treadmill and let yourself breathe. To everyone grinding right now—feeling stuck, overlooked, exhausted: The promotion you didn’t get won’t matter in five years. The harsh feedback won’t define you. The project you lost is already forgotten. But how you treat yourself today? That compounds. Corporate burnout is real. Work-life balance isn’t optional. Mental health isn’t negotiable. You’re allowed to choose yourself. You’re allowed to zoom out. You’re allowed to prioritize peace over position. Whether you’re staying, leaving, or figuring it out—you’re exactly where you need to be. Take care of yourself. You’re going to be okay 💛 Day 3/75 [Quit my job, corporate burnout, mental health matters, work-life balance, career change, leaving corporate, HUL, Unilever, ITC, 50 LPA, Senior Manager, corporate to founder, MBA, MICA, marketing career, brand manager, choose yourself, burnout recovery, entrepreneurship, building in public, peace over position, self-care, zoom out, starting over, founder journey, life after quitting.] #QuitMyJob #founder #corporate #MentalHealth #ChooseYourself
