175 years old Bonedi Bari Durga Pujo ⤵️⁣ Follow for More ⁣ One of most beautiful house in Kolkata is the Ram Gopal Saha’s mansion.Durga Puja in this house was initiated about 175 years ago by Ram Gopal Saha, who was an illustrious wine and liquor merchant.⁣This Bonedi Bari Durga Pujo is must visit in Kolkata. ⁣ The idol is a traditional ekchala idol with pristine white sholar kaaj. Durga’s face is painted the traditional yellow. On nobomi the ladies of the house does the ritual of Dhuno Porano in which they sit in front of Maa Durga and place pots with fire on their head.
