I was thrilled to discover @muruganidli_ in Adelaide 🤤 I couldn’t wait to try it! I started with the curry leaves podi and garlic podi dosa. Both incredibly crispy with just the right amount of spice. The podi mix was flavour-packed, and the dosas were spot on🤌 I also went for their combo, which came with ghee podi idly, plain idly, medhu vadai, and kal dosai served alongside a rich and hearty vadacurry. It was accompanied by an amazing spread of chutneys — coriander, mint, tomato, and coconut — plus a steaming bowl of comforting sambar✨ The vadacurry was Vera level — packed with bold flavours and just the right heat. All the chutneys were fantastic, but the coriander chutney truly stood out — super fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious😍 I also tried the Pongal, which was beautifully aromatic, and the mini podi idlies — tiny bites of pure joy. The chilli parotta was fiery and full of flavour — a must-try for spice lovers🤩 When it came to snacks, I was in heaven! My absolute favourites were the chilli bajji and paniyaram — crispy on the outside, soft inside, and so satisfying. The potato masala bonda and masala vadai were also incredibly good — golden, crunchy, and perfectly spiced. Don’t miss the sweets! They have a great selection, but my favourite was the sweet poli (obattu) — soft flatbread stuffed with a luscious lentil and coconut filling🤤 To wrap it all up, the filter coffee hit all the right notes — aromatic, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I also sipped on their jigarthanda, which was delicately sweet and wonderfully refreshing😍 Every bite took me right back to the streets of Chennai.
