
I never thought much about my weight… until my blood test came back with borderline triglycerides. I didn’t go on a crash diet or spend hours at the gym. Instead, I made small, doable changes – and they worked. Here’s what helped me the most: I stopped having biscuits with my evening chai. Instead, I snack on nuts or curd with flax seeds. Lunch stayed heavy (rice, dal, veggies, fish/chicken) but dinner is now light – soups, veggies, or a boiled egg. I walk 10 minutes after every meal. Not just evenings – every meal. It changed my digestion and energy. I switched from fearing fats to eating the right ones – cold-pressed oils, fish, flaxseed. I still enjoy biryani on Sundays – but one plate, not a feast.
