The father–daughter dynamic, in particular, is nuanced and deeply human. That said, the corporate subplot—while authentic and well-informed—sometimes feels overdeveloped. These sections add realism but occasionally dilute the emotional momentum, pulling focus away from the intimate core of the story. But in a nutshell, Between Lies and Legacy is an honest, reflective novel that understands healing as incomplete and truth as layered—making it imperfect, but compelling in its sincerity.
