▶️do you enjoy books where you keep guessing till the end? I picked up this book purely because of its cover and the vibe. I was in the mood for something light, thrilling, and entertaining, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best weekend reading decisions I’ve made recently. Delhi Disco by Shikhar Goyal follows Sameera, a young woman determined to revive Kapital, the club her parents built with immense hard work. Just as things begin to fall into place, Neil – her ex-boyfriend re-enters her life, hoping to win her back, and quickly realizes that the only way to reach her heart is through Kapital. But while love begins to rekindle, someone is quietly watching everything unfold, and that’s where the mystery begins. There’s glamour, yes, but it doesn’t hide the chaos; if anything, it amplifies it. The disco isn’t just a setting – it becomes a space where lives intersect, secrets surface, and things slowly begin to unravel. What stayed with me was this contrast. How something that looks so vibrant on the outside can carry so much tension within. I think what made this story work for me was not just the mystery, but the constant undercurrent of tension. There was always this feeling that something wasn’t right, even in the calmer moments. The plot is layered and engaging.
