▶️ your favourite book based on Indian mythology/ Lord Hanuman? This is the first time I’ve come across a book like this. A book that doesn’t just collect sacred texts dedicated to Lord Hanuman, but gently explains them their meaning, their stories, and the why behind them. From Sundarkand, Hanuman Chalisa, Hanuman Bahu, Bajrang Baan, and many other sacred verses, the book presents the texts in both Hindi and English, followed by clear translations in both languages. What stood out to me was how beautifully the authors weave stories into these explanations. They talk about why Tulsidas ji wrote Sundarkand, why it is called Sundarkand, what Bajrang Baan truly is, what Hanuman Chalisa represents, and why we recite it in the first place. I’ve never read Sundarkand before and that’s exactly why this book stayed with me. It made something that once felt distant feel deeply accessible. I also loved the small, thoughtful details: why he is called Hanuman, Hanumant, and Hanumat, and the meaning behind names like Kesari Nandan, Anjani Putra, and Pavan Putra. The stories behind each name are explained with such warmth and devotion. This book teaches you gently and leaves you with a deeper understanding and a quieter mind. A truly beautiful read for anyone seeking meaning, not just words. #hanumanbhakt #sundarkand #readerviddh #books #spiritualbooks
