🌼Many of you have been asking if I am doing a retreat or attending a course, so here you go - I recently enrolled for a rigorous and complete wellness training course amid the Himalayas, learning and getting trained by the best Yoga and Meditation teachers straight from the Yoga and Spiritual Capital of the World - “Rishikesh”. Having enrolled for my long due 200-hour Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training (YTT) at Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Center (RYTTC), I want to share my experience so far. I am halfway through the program and it has turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. We practise and get trained in a group of 18 students or learners from different parts of the world. It is amazing to see that 80% of the learners are from the overseas and are so intrigued with the Hindu Yogic culture and philosophies. We wake up at 4:30 am every morning and the training lasts for 8 hours every day which includes practising different forms of yoga, learning yoga philosophies and getting acquainted with the teaching methodologies. For me, this training isn’t just a certification, it is a natural extension of the work I do through my platform Sanity Daily @sanity_daily, where I support women, mothers, and young professionals in reclaiming their mental health. Through this training, I’ll be integrating mindful movement, guided breath-work, and trauma-informed yoga practices into my future projects and workshops.
