7-year-old Anu from Birmingham, England, went viral after BBC Midlands filmed her proudly showing her new pink prosthetic sports blade to her classmates. Born with complications that led to her right leg being amputated shortly after birth, Anu had used regular prosthetics all her life. The new blade, provided through an NHS children’s activity prosthetics program, helped her run and dance more freely like other kids. In the video, her friends gathered around, hugged her, asked innocent questions, and then ran off to play together.
