What happened to Twisha Sharma is a chilling reminder of what exactly happens when patriarchy goes unchecked. (Yeh toh hota hi aa raha hai, sahi hi hoga haina) I am of the firm opinion that Women are enablers of Patriarchy. And this has nothing to do with your education. Otherwise why would a highly educated woman holding high judicial office, like her mother-in-law, choose to slander, vilify and defame her deceased daughter-in-law to save her own son and her own image. This is what generational conditioning looks like when it isn’t broken. This is my daughter, and this is what it looks like when I chose to break that chain that we have all been conditioned to believe that it is quite normal. It MUST END WITH US. ➡️ I am raising her to know her power, question the rules (even question me) and live completely free from the thoughts that hold women back. I am teaching her to raise her voice when she needs to. ➡️ I am raising her to be entirely unapologetic of her choices, fiercely independent, and free from the toxic conditioning that tells women to play small. We are rewriting the rules together. 👩🏻 👧
