Mindful eating helped me stop overeating. 5️⃣ 98% homemade food rule Home-cooked meals gave me control over ingredients, oil, and portions — the biggest game changer. 6️⃣ Repeating simple meals (removes decision fatigue) Eating similar meals daily may feel boring, but it prevents unhealthy choices and keeps you on track. 7️⃣ Portion awareness (without obsession) I tracked what I ate and stayed mindful of quantities — no strict weighing, just awareness. 8️⃣ Planned treats to avoid binge cycles I allowed one treat per week. No guilt. No restriction. This kept me consistent long term. 9️⃣ Smart emotional eating strategy I kept low-calorie comfort foods ready for hard days so I didn’t spiral into overeating. 🔟 Balance after indulgence If I ate heavy at cafés, parties, or festivals, I returned to clean homemade food — no punishment, just balance.
