If your peace depends on a person or a place that’s not peace. That’s attachment. We’ve all done it. “I feel calm when I’m with them.” “That place just makes everything better.” “Once things settle down, I’ll be okay.” And for a while it works. But the moment that person leaves, that place changes, or life shifts the peace disappears with it. Because it was never really peace. It was just a temporary escape dressed up as one. Real peace doesn’t arrive when your circumstances become comfortable. It arrives when YOU become capable of facing them. The problem was never the place. The problem was never the person. The problem is the approach how you’re looking at what’s in front of you. Run from it → it grows. Delay it → it compounds. Face it with the right mindset → it transforms.
