Are you a foodie? Even if not, have you ever heard about role of #Neuroscience on food consumption? We might have seen blindfold test being conducted on various fields from time to time but this one sounded unique to me when I got to know about it from @the.minimalist.monk What made this event more interesting and interactive was the presence of Dr @sumyukthavijay who conducted the session right from the beginning till the end with same energy and enthusiasm making it a 2-way-interactive session. Sumyuktha was gracious in explaining various concepts related to the importance of eye sight and the role of neuroscience pertaining to seeing, conceiving and consumption. After the session, we were given a mask to blindfold our eyes post which we were given a combination of solid food and liquids which comprised soups, hibiscus/tulsi/aerated drinks and solid foods which included chips/energy bars among 20 items and were made to guess the type of food/flavour. Finally the answers were revealed. This was followed by which bites prepared by @the.minimalist.monk himself. The session was not only informative but also an eye-opener. It also established the importance of good vision. Preserve it and lead a happy/healthy life. #Neuroscience #vision #foodlover
