They have covered many places but not limited to Yelagiri, Udhagai, Koli, Kodaikanal among others. The dishes were extra ordinary. Never had tasted such delicious food items - be it starters or main course or the desserts. Dishes I had: Javadhu Malai Karu Nandu Rasam Baratha Avara Neimilagai Kozhi Vathakkal Poricha Kari Meen Varuval Sutta Aatukaal Kozhambu Kottaiyur Kozhi Kozhambu Mola Barthathu(rabbit fry) Valparai Meen Kuzhambu Vengayathaal Muttai Poriyal Musumusukai Dosa Idiyappam Seval Biriyani Puzhungal Arisi Saadham Panang Kizhangu Kozhavai Thenum Thinai Maavum Puthittu Payasa New things learnt - Kozhavai is neither solid nor liquid. It’s a semi state. Potato is referred as Gauss among Thodars. It is a staple food for them & they consume it as snacks, with rice and is a must in their cuisine. They have different menu each day for 4 days. Then it repeats. The festival started yesterday and will go on until Mar 1.
