Almost two years since my mummy left me, and I never thought I would become one of those people who feel jealous seeing others wish their moms on Mother’s Day. Two years ago, I was in Rishikesh as a believer of God’s existence….But watching my mother suffer every single day through the unbearable pain of cancer treatment changed something in me. No prayer, nothing, seemed to work, and somewhere along the way, I lost my faith in God. This year, when I went back to Rishikesh as an atheist, I realized that everything is in your mind. No place… no matter how spiritual or happening …can make you truly happy when your heart is heavy. And sometimes, a person can still find happiness even in the middle of nothing. Miss you Mommy… I know… this post doesn’t make any sense… but😊 #nomothersdaywithoutyou
