⭐⭐⭐⭐ I finally read "Couple of Things" by Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol-I must say it was an incredible treat. This book is a lovely combination of humor and romance that kept me hooked till the end. The book's writing style is simple but intriguing, and Anmol and Amrita's use of colloquial language makes it even more relevant. Anmol and Amrita narrate the book in alternate chapters, describing their journey from childhood to adulthood, from college days to successful careers. Anmol recounts his experiences as an RJ, while Amrita shares her struggles and triumphs as an actress in the Indian film industry. The authors' honesty or candor shined through in every chapter, making it relatable and intriguing. Anmol's witty humor and Amrita's gentle compassion added an extra layer of charm to the book, making it a very pleasant read. One aspect that stood out to me was how the authors portrayed their relationship. The love story of a Delhi boy and a Bollywood star is nothing less than a romantic film. Their entire journey, from first encounter to marriage, was described in a way like I was a part of it. With such a high-profile relationship comes difficulties, and both Anmol and Amrita dealt with every situation gracefully.
