"Love means fire and danger." ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was astonished and taken aback by this book's depiction of the story's intense pain and anger. I can't put it down till I read it. Gabriel Hill is known for his playboy attitude, yet only a secret keeper is able to spend the night with him. Knowing other people's secrets gives him a thrill. He now wants to uncover Elise Bettencourt's secrets. She is the master key to his revenge game and his enemy's daughter. Elisa is hiding a secret that has the potential to alter Gabriel's entire plan. Gabriel can easily obtain the secrets from Elisa, but he must be careful not to reveal his true desires for her because he is on the path to self-destruction. I enjoy stories with a rich backstory, and the background story of this book is breathtaking. It put me on edge and made me regret not reading Mason's story. Gabriel and Elise are perfect for each other. The emotions are all over the place, and guilt has a powerful but effective shot in the story. This book feels short but keeps engaging enough to carve for the next book. I perceive Elise as a kind, gentle, and compassionate woman, but I'm looking forward to reading about her ruthless side in the upcoming book. Words cannot adequately capture Gabriel's complexity and mystique. It is hard to understand him until he gives the words to his feelings. I'm most in love with that. Overall, this book holds a part of me. It won't be free till the next book is out. It has so many lovable characters and massive strength of storyline. It urges you to read the first book, and the author manages to get your thoughts wrapped around where she wants it to go, engaging me in Elise and Gabriel.
