MHA Restores ₹100 Crore Project Approval Powers to Ladakh LG 🏔️📄 The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) oversees administration of Union Territories, ensuring smooth governance and financial oversight 🇮🇳⚖️ The MHA has restored appraisal and approval powers to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh for projects costing up to ₹100 crore under the Delegation of Financial Powers Rules (DFPRs), 2024. This decision reverses an earlier withdrawal and applies to Union Territories without legislatures, including Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, and Lakshadweep.
