I am just surviving in the true sense of it. Marriage has to do very little with it but existence yes. Identity Crisis, Yes! Motherhood is not difficult but no genuine care and affection around, for the mother, makes it a mammoth task! You are drained and defeated in the first half of the day.. dragging yourself for the next half, trying to stay calm and keeping your sanity. WISE WORDS IN THESE TIMES, in no particular order : 1. People are constantly hovering over you not to check on you but to CHECK YOU, correct you! 2. You have to live with people who constantly depreciate your effort and are always bent to Cancel you. What you think is always wrong, what you talk is wrong and certainly what you do is of no importance and value. 3. Your opinion in never asked for and in case you jump in without invitation-you are turning to a deaf ear for sure. Specially if you are not a working professional, half the things you say are not even acknowledged. 4. Constantly looked down upon You - You- a homemaker who is looking after your children Only/-. 5. How much you earn builds your place in society and definitely in your Home(not immediate Mummy Papa) 6. Family Love = Net Worth 7. Acceptance.😂. Only on the face of it. You are accepted only on the surface level. To be clear -You are just not Cancelled in public, otherwise every statement you make is wrong and cannot be valued. 8. Patriarchy. No. No.Not Matriarchy but certainly Women led patriarchy who have taken on themselves to make the world a Patriarchal wonder.Still living in a world where Women pull down women, elder-younger, everyone! Every two weeks I should re-evaluate my choices in life-not regretting earlier ones but for future security - not go into a shell but just Recalibrate- Declutter and come back!
