Wondering why, because the book Thuldrun.Sunya by Sheetal Choksi and Samiran Ghosh offers you an exhilarating tour of a world where merchants trade in ideas and philosophises, humans ride dragons and objects float defying gravity.The main protagonist Ansh Chatterjee, the lover of conspiracies always felt his world wasn't stiched together as it was supposed to be.Since 2024, he experienced things that completely altered his life.While decoding cryptic codes around a conspiracy theories, he stumbled upon a world whose existence can be traced back to ancient Indian civilization in Dwarka, India. During this journey we come across his other companions Riya, his best friend, Galileo, the philosophical dog, Rahul, VJ and UG Rotoro. The addictive concoction of conspiracy theories, secrets, quantum mechanics and mythology against the backdrop of beautiful chaotic Mumbai kept me glued to the book till the last word.The touch of humour, wowie effect and the discussion about Mangalis added a different edge to the story. The start is a bit slow but once you get the hang of it, you feel completely immersed in another world.You read every line with cent percent attention as if you can't sleep unless you solve this mystery. "Dubito, ergo cogito" It is one of the best things I learnt during this thrilling journey. As a science student, I came across many familiar scientific terminologies which others may find a little difficult to adapt. As a science fiction lover, I couldn't get enough of the mind boggling experience it offered, the mere thought of a futuristic physics defying world supported by ancient knowledge and relics gave me goosebumps.It made me imagine, doubt and sometimes fear too.
