there’s something about earthy tones that feels grounding. but lately i’ve been thinking about how the same earth we romanticise aesthetically, is the one we’re actively exhausting 🌏 nearly 489 million hectares of forest have been lost globally since 1990, with around 10 million hectares still disappearing every year. animal agriculture remains one of the biggest drivers of deforestation worldwide, while india’s dairy industry alone supports one of the largest cattle populations on the planet - contributing heavily to methane emissions, water usage and land degradation. i think that’s why i’ve started caring more about what i consume, support and normalise. not from a place of guilt or perfection, but because the planet deserves more than performative concern. sustainability, compassion and conscious living shouldn’t just exist as aesthetics or trends online - they should translate into the choices we make every day. the earth doesn’t need better branding, it needs better behaviour 🌱 . . . #savetheearth #vegan #veganlifestyle #sustainable #vegangirl
