Main Ingredients: Chicken: 4 kg Potatoes: As required Curd (Yogurt): 750 gm Onions: 12 medium-sized (to make Brista – fried onions) Oil: 750 gm Lemon Juice: 6 tsp Green Chilies: 10–15 (or as required) Ginger-Garlic-Green Chili Paste: 8 tsp Salt: 5 tsp (adjust to taste) Food Colour: Optional Coriander Leaves: 1 cup (chopped) Mint Leaves: ½ cup (chopped) Whole Spices: Cumin Seeds: 4½ tsp Black Peppercorns: 5 tsp Cloves 2-½ Tsp Chili Flakes: 5 tsp Coriander Powder: 4½ tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder: 4½ tsp Star Anise: 8 Tej Patta (Bay Leaves): 5–6 Cinnamon Sticks: 5 Black Cardamom: 6 (medium-sized) Rose Petals (Dried Edible): 1 tsp Aloo Bukhara (Dried Plums): 15–18 To Grind into Fine Powder: Green Cardamom: 20–25 Mace (Javitri): Few blades Nutmeg (Jaiphal): small piece Basmati Rice extra-long- 3 kg (Always use good quality of rice)
