Recently, I indulged in a three-day retreat at Woods at Sasan in Gir. There, I had the unique opportunity to handpick organic vegetables used in the day-to-day slow cooking process, truly connecting with the journey from farm to table. 👉🏻 While staying at Woods at Sasan, you have the option to request a personalized itinerary tailored to your interests, including visits to Junagadh (1.5 hours away) or Somnath (1 hour away). A must-do activity is a jungle safari in Gir National Park, renowned for its Asiatic Lions. 👉🏻 After a day of exploration, treat yourself to a variety of spa treatments at Som Wellness. I indulged in Abhyanga, an Ayurvedic therapy using medicated oils, but they also offer Thai, Swedish, Balinese massages, and more to help you unwind. An innovative offering is a sound therapy, with Woods at Sasan being one of the pioneering properties in India to introduce the concept of a Sonotorium to its guests. 👉🏻 Evenings at Woods at Sasan come alive with a variety of cultural programs.
